A life-long chubber, Goodman believes his time at Dartmouth propelled him into a lifetime of loving outdoor adventures. The first photo shows Goodman as he was hiking through the White Mountains with classmates Al Gasner ’47 and Al Epstein ’47 in 1947. The second shows friends Alan Gasner, Alan Becker ’48 and Alan Epstein (from left to right) in front of a Dartmouth winter cabin. In the page photo shows Goodman at 88 years old and spending time in Alta during the spring of 2015. He is the husband of the late Claire Garber Goodman, and established a fund in her name through the Dartmouth College Anthropology Department which made Sharing the Mountain possible.
