The Lodge is where I learned how to cook. I think you’ll find that with a lot of people. My favorite mac n’ cheese recipe is from the Moosilauke Cookbook. I had never done any cooking at all until Moosilauke. The funny thing is, I left Moosilauke and knew how to cook, but didn’t know how to cook for fewer than 30 people, so I would make mac n’ cheese and we would have it for the week. And that’s one of the things I love: just doing a lot of things you don’t have experience with.
