The Buffalo Head

On the front wall of the main room, above the bank of windows, hung the stuffed head of a bison. One year during trips, a small sign appeared, with an upward pointing arrow, that read “Beware of Buffalo.” Not long afterward, scrawled along the bottom of the sign in a different hand appeared, “Also avoid Utica”.
